About Citeably.io

Citeably.io shows how AI assistants describe your brand: whether they name you when a buyer asks for a recommendation, who they name instead, and which web pages their answers are built from.

Why it exists

Buyers increasingly ask an assistant before they build a shortlist. A company can rank well in search and still be missing from those answers, and nothing in a normal analytics stack shows it. We built this to make that gap visible, and measurable over time.

How a check works

  1. From your domain we generate the topics your market cares about and the prompts a buyer would actually type. Every topic and prompt can be edited.
  2. Each prompt goes to the models behind ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity through their APIs, with live web search on, so the answers draw on the current web.
  3. For every answer we record whether your brand is named, which competitors are named, and which sources are cited.
  4. Every check is kept, so a change in visibility can be traced to when it happened.

API answers can differ from what a signed-in user sees in the consumer apps, which personalise their responses. Treat the results as a measure of share and trend across many prompts, not as a transcript of any one person's session.
